Axle Details
The Chrysler 7.25" axle, also known as the AAM 7.25" has 9 or 10 bolts on rear cover and features a 7.25" ring gear. The axle is most often a c-clip style axle, however, there was a bolt in application up until 1981. The 9 bolt rear uses a different case and spider assembly which is not compatible with new components.

Note: This axle has a Carrier Break and gear changes may require a different carrier or thick gears.
